Have you noticed that what was once old is now new and what was once seen as “out-of style” is now in style? If you think back almost 10 years ago, the biggest trend then was wearing afros and bellbottoms very similar to the 60s and 70s. Now 80s fashion is more prevalent.
Delta forces, Huaraches, Bally’s, gazelles, assaults, Kangols, shell toes and tapered jeans are some of the styles that have influenced the new retro movement.
On any given day, you can see several people wearing hi-top fades, gold dookie rope chains and bright neon colors.
Everybody is holding the 80s swag down with some of the dopest sneakers you’ve seen since they were doing “the wop”! Even mainstream companies like Nike & Adidas are re-releasing sneakers that came out in the 80s.
